Friends and Family,
Here are the Marathon updates:
On with my training. I have finally set my pace to be 9:30, and I have finally met this group’s lead caught up with the news. (cookies, and endurance for after training needed…checked!)
I am running 3-4 miles every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. My pace is constant 9:30 to 9:45. On Sunday 13th,. I was able to do my 9 mile run in spite of a sudden stillness. In addition, a challenge jumped out. I have run out of mental songs to lullaby to myself while running. My approach will be to get more acquainted with Rockies and super-hero like soundtracks to fill up the gap.
Controlling my weight, I have been reduced 5 out of the 20 pounds the summer set me up with. No more love handles for me mister! In addition, I have found a number of routes with different mileage in order to diversify the training grounds.
That‘s the marathon prep in a nutshell. I sincerely hope your love and power burns enduringly, and I certainly wish for the success of all your present projects. More importantly, I thank you for your constant support and love!
